Why Stay at Bed and Breakfast

Bed and Breakfast Inns are wonderful places to stay whether you just need to getaway for a weekend or are looking for a longer vacation. In a word, bed and breakfast inns are unique. They can’t really be compared to a traditional hotel stay. Bed and Breakfast Inns offer a completely different experience in all of the right ways. Here are 4 reasons why you need to stay at a Bed and Breakfast today:

  1. Breakfast – of course
  2. Let’s start with the obvious – breakfast. It’s the most important meal of the day and when you stay in a bed and breakfast, you get a home cooked specially prepared meal. Delicious.  At a hotel, you might get an on-the-go cold breakfast that leaves you hungry after just a few minutes. Sometimes you might get lucky with a hot breakfast, but it won’t be personal or made to order. Over processed, powdered eggs for breakfast? No thanks! But in a Bed and Breakfast, you literally have it in the name…breakfast. It’s part of the deal and made just for you. Say “goodbye” to the continental breakfast and come to a bed and breakfast today. You deserve to start your day with an incredible culinary meal anyway!

  3. Service
  4. Service probably tops the delicious breakfast….But only by a little. Some hotels may offer you great service, however, it can be hit or miss. Do you really know what you are getting? These days, staying in less than a 5 star hotel can mean that the only real service experience you’ll have is when you first arrive and check in. Once you have your room key, you are on your own. At a Bed and Breakfast, your service experience is much more on the concierge level and not on the “call the front desk only if there is a problem” level. At Bed and Breakfast inns, the owners are often the operators. We strive to do everything we can to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. After all, it is your getaway. It’s our job to make it as pleasant as possible.

  5. Amenities
  6. Amenities at a hotel can be great, if you feel like having to pay for each and every one of them every time you use them. Hotels can nickel and dime you for amenities such as wifi or breakfast. Save your hard earned cash and enjoy amenities such as free wifi (and breakfast) at a B&B. At a B&B, we understand that certain amenities are basics or necessities for our guests. Emptying your pockets for necessities is simply not necessary at a Bed & Breakfast.

  7. Memorable
  8. Finally, a stay at a bed and breakfast inn is going to be much more memorable than staying at a run-of-the-mill hotel.  Hotel rooms can be very cookie-cutter, even ho-hum. Same room, different hotel, different city. What is so special about that? Not too much. When you stay at a Bed and Breakfast, you will take a unique and memorable experience with you when your stay has come to an end. Do you remember anything special about the hotel experience you had last year? How about last month?  Didn’t think so. But if you stop and think about a bed and breakfast stay, it would likely be a much different answer. That’s because the Bed and Breakfast experience versus a hotel room is much more personal. When you stay at a Bed and Breakfast, you are not just a room number, you are truly a guest.
