For years, Blue Lake Ranch has been considered one of the finest settings for Durango weddings and other special events.
Our spectacular and secluded 200 acre property offers glorious views of the mountains, gardens, and private lake. With the addition of the Ridgewood Event Center, located one mile south of Blue Lake Ranch, we can accommodate up to 150 event participants from April to November.
Between Labor Day and Memorial Day, Blue Lake Ranch will once again host small weddings, receptions, dinners, meetings, reunions, retreats, and conferences with an expanded dining room and lodging for up to 60 overnight guests in a variety of luxurious suites and casitas. Whatever the size or style of your wedding, our professional event staff can coordinate each unique touch and last minute detail so you can relax and enjoy your special day.
The Ridgewood Event Center is located in scenic La Plata River Valley of southwestern Colorado. We are located just minutes from Durango and Cortez, Colorado and a short drive from Farmington and Aztec, New Mexico. It is a breathtaking, high country setting for destination weddings and special events as well as corporate training seminars and retreats. The tall windows of the Ridgewood's stone and pine structure offer panoramic views of the snow-capped La Plata Mountains, lush green meadows, 100-year-old cottonwoods, and acres of our heirloom flower gardens. The Ridgewood Event Center offers a spectacular venue from April - October.

In addition to 1,500 square feet of interior space with expansive 12' high ceilings, the Center has a 1,000 square foot covered portal. Our catering kitchen allows food to be kept at appropriate temperatures and served in professional style. Ridgewood is wheelchair accessible and has parking for up to 150 cars.
Rental of the Ridgewood Event Center includes the use of our tables, maple chairs, linens, glassware, silverware, and china.
Our experienced staff is committed to making your event a success. After we meet with you to review your plans, we take care of all the details from setup to cleanup. We're there behind the scenes to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

Rental fees for the Ridgewood Event Center range from $1,500 to about $3,000 depending on the season and the size of your event. Our experienced staff will work with you to design a package that suits your tastes and budget.
